Installation of the OpenEdge Adapter for Sonic ESB

Installation of the OpenEdge Adapter for Sonic ESB is fully automated in those cases where OpenEdge is installed on the same machine that hosts Sonic ESB, provided that the SonicMQ container is running and the installer, when prompted to do so, provides the correct location of the Sonic ESB installation. If OpenEdge and Sonic ESB both reside on the same machine at your site, you can skip this section and proceed to the "Using the OpenEdge Adapter for Sonic ESB" section.

If you choose to install OpenEdge on a different host, you must manually complete certain configuration tasks as explained in the sections that follow.
